Actress Angelina Jolie held a press conference after meeting Pakistan's flood victims directly. Wearing a black Muslim dress and head scarf, Jolie also calls on world community to provide assistance.
"It's not just the problem of flooding. From what I understand, the scale of the damage we have never seen before. Scale of very large," he said as quoted by the Telegraph, Wednesday (09/08/2010).
Jolie also tells us a lot of people of Pakistan who became victims because of flooding. Most of them lost their homes and family members.
"I was deeply moved to see them. I hope I can, today or tomorrow, bringing help and make people pay attention to the situation in Pakistan," he added.
Jolie went to Pakistan in the series of his duties as Ambassador UNHCR. He appeared together with the flood victims. He also wears clothing tailored to the local community. Lover Brad Pitt was wearing a black Muslim. Head scarf tightly closed.
